Ingredients | 1/4 lb butter 2 Tbs sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup sifted flour 1 cup chopped pecans some icing sugar |
Directions | Cream butter and sugar, then add vanilla, flour, and pecans. Form into balls and bake at 300 degrees F for 45 minutes. Roll in icing sugar while still hot, and then again when cold. |
Notes | Kelley shared this Christmas recipe - her mom made them, and as kids they called them 'dog food' because her mom would hide them in the freezer labeled that way so they wouldn't eat them all before Christmas. |
