Ingredients | Crust: 1/4 cup butter 1 1/4 cups Oreo cookie crumbs (icing included) Filling: 3 cups (750g) cream cheese 1 cup sugar 3 eggs 6 squares unsweetened chocolate ¼ cup Kahlua |
Directions | Melt butter in saucepan. Using metal grater or blender, crumble cookies (works better if they are cold). Combine crumbs with melted butter and press into bottom of 9” spring form pan. In saucepan, melt chocolate and allow to cool slightly. Microwave cream cheese on high for 30 seconds (in individual containers if possible). Beat sugar into softened cream cheese. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix until just blended. Stir in melted chocolate and liqueur. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes, or until center is almost set. Cool completely, then refrigerate for 3+ hours. Top with walnuts. |
Notes | Substitute Amaretto for Kahlua, top with roasted almonds. |
