| Ingredients | 1 1/2 Cups Flour 4 tsp Baking Powder 1/2 tsp Salt 1/4 Cup Shortening 2/3 Cup Milk |
| Directions | Mix together the dry ingredients first. Use a pastry cutter to cut in the shortening, until you get the pea-shaped balls forming. Slowly, bit by bit, stir in the milk. Knead the dough only a bit, and pat with your hands down to about a 3/4 inch thick layer. Cut discs using a cutter. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 450 degrees in the oven fr 8-10 minutes. |
