Ingredients | 1 cup mashed ripe banana 4 Tbs coconut sugar, or hippy sugar, or just sugar 3 Tbs melted unsalted butter or coconut oil 2 Tbs milk, or almond milk, or whatever 1 Egg 1 tsp of Vanilla 1/2 Cup Cocoa powder 3/4 Cup Flour 1/2 tsp Baking Soda 1/4 tsp salt 6 Tbs Chocolate Chips |
Directions | Mix all wet ingredients first. Be sure the butter is melted and in a liquid state. Mix all the dry ingredients separate, and add to the wet. Get a 9x9 pan and use either spray-on oil, or butter to grease it. Pour/scrape the mix into the pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 16-20 minutes |
Notes | These have a pretty strong banana flavour, but are neat and moist! The big thing is that these can be pretty low calorie. The way you can maximize the low calorie parts is: * hippy sugar of some kind, including coconut sugar * use a thin thin layer of oil instead of butter to grease the pan * use almond milk, which is lower calorie than cow milk * whole wheat flour is a more complex carb, and possibly less sugary than white flour But like, don't sweat it either. |
