Ingredients | 1/2lb. butter or margarine 4 tbsp sugar (or 1/4c) 1c ground pecans 2 tbsp almond extract confectioner's sugar |
Directions | In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Add one cup of flour and mix in. Add the pecans and mix again. Add the almond extract and the rest of the flour and mix. At this point, the batter should be sticky. If it is dry, add 1-2 tbsp of milk. Roll the batter into balls (about 1" in diameter) and bake at 300F for 30 - 40 minutes. Roll them in confectioner's sugar while they are still warm. |
Notes | Substitute almonds for pecans for extra fun. |
