| Ingredients | 1-2 heads cauliflower 2-3 strips bacon green onion Cheese Sauce --------------- Make a white sauce and add cheese in the normal way. Adding a bit of garlic at the beginning with the butter can be a nice touch. melt 1 Tbs butter brown 1 Tbs flower in the butter Add sloooowly about 1/2 - 3/4 C milk, stirring as you go so it thickens Add a goodly handful of cheese till it's a cheesey sauce |
| Directions | Quickly blanch or briefly boil all the cauliflower. Cut up into small pieces and cover a long baking tray with them. Make the cheese sauce and when done, mix in with the cauliflower. Cook some bacon to your preferred crisp-ness, crumble and sprinkle on dish. Dice green onion and sprinkle on dish. Sprinkle a last handful of grated cheese over the top. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25-30m Add any other baked-potato like toppings you want when you serve. |
