Ingredients | DRY INGREDIENTS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 4 Cups Flour (A lot of the time we do 50/50 whole wheat/white flour) 4 teaspoons baking powder 2 teaspoons baking soda 2 teaspoons salt 2 teaspoons sugar WET INGREDIENTS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 4 large eggs 1/4 cup oil 2 cups buttermilk (500ml) 2 cups sour cream (500ml) 1/2 can evaporated milk or equivalent whipping cream EXTRA SPECIAL CRAZY TOWN ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1/2 Regular sized bottle of beer. |
Directions | Mix dry ingredients together in large bowl. Make a well in the center, and add the wet ingredients. Beat until large lumps are out. Add about 1/2 bottle beer, let stand at least 30 minutes before cooking. |
Notes | Travis insisted that I take note that this amount covers multiple breakfasts for his family, so two people should probably only do a half batch. |
