Ingredients | Olive Oil 1 cup of rice 2 cups of chicken broth or water various veggimables |
Directions | Heat roughly 3 tablespoons of oil over medium heat in a frying pan. Add 1 cup of rice, uncooked, stirring often. When it starts to brown, add 2 cups of water or chicken broth, 1 teaspoon of salt. Bring to boil. Add veggies. Tomatoes are good, and pretty much everything else. A cooked chicken breast sliced up is also tasty. Cover and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes. |
Notes | Grated cheese on top is pretty dang yummy. |
