Ingredients | Pie Crust (bottom only) 1/2 Cup Pecans 3 Eggs 1 cup Corn Syrup 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar 1/2 tsp. Vanilla 1/4 tsp. Salt |
Directions | Make and bake pie shell (or buy a frozen one, you sea-louse). Arrange pecans in concentric circles on bottom. In a medium sized bowl, beat eggs with a whisk until light and frothy. Beat in syrup and then the sugar, and continue beating until it is all dissolved. Add vanilla and salt. Beat until smooth. Carefully pour mixture on the pecans, careful not to disturb the circles. Bake at 425 degree oven for 10 minutes, then decrease to 350 for 30 minutes. Let this baby cool completely so it can set before eating. |
Notes | My mom use to make this all the time. It is -super- awesome. |
